Vexifield (Pty) Ltd t/a Digitot is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy covers the information we collect about you when you use our products or services, or otherwise interact with us, unless a different policy is displayed. Digitot, we and us refers to Vexifield (Pty) Ltd t/a Digitot. We may refer to the Digitot Backoffice product, together with our other services and websites as "Services" in this policy.

The functionality of the Services is linked to a specific organization (referred as Groups and Venues in the Services) and that organization has control over the information collected by the Services. This policy does not apply when processing personal information ob behalf of such organizations.

If you do not agree with this policy, do not access or use our Services or interact with any other aspect of our business.

The Information We Collect

Digitot only collects information about you when you input it into the Services or otherwise provide it directly to us. We may also receive additional personal information through the organization linked to your account (for example, your employer).

Cookies

Digitot does utilize cookies. A “cookie” is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user’s web browser while the user is browsing that website. We only use cookies to improve the user experience, store temporary data and persist authentication credentials. We do not use cookies to track your activity or gather more personal information.

How We Use The Information We Collect

How we use your personal information depends in the most part on which Services you use and how you use them. We may use the information, outside the Services, for directly communicating with you to: send automated reports, send license expiry notices, inform about new features, etc. We may also use the information for internal research and development.

Security

Digitot will not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any personally identifiable information to any third parties outside our organization and those directly linked to your account. We will only disclose personally identifiable information we maintain to those not directly working in connection with Digitot when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena.

Personal information collected by Digitot and our Services is stored in secure environments and can only be accessed by Digitot employees or consultants exclusively for the management of the Services. At present, we centralize records of personal information in South Africa. Therefore, we may perform some of our data processing of your personal information outside your country of residence. The processing of your information is governed by the laws of South Africa, which may not offer the same rights and remedies as the laws in your country of residence. Digitot will protect your personal information no matter where we process or store it, following this privacy policy. By submitting your personal data to Digitot, you hereby consent to this processing of your personal information.
